The Abbey Hotel and Restaurant, Wymondham

The Abbey Hotel is full of charm, character and warmth which sets it apart from the ordinary. The hotel has a rich history and an interesting mix of 16th and 19th century architecture, reflected in the diversity and comfort of our accommodation. The Abbey Hotel is situated in a very quiet location, opposite the Ancient 16th Century and grounds, a stone's throw from the centre of Wymondham with Norwich City within just 10 miles.

The hotel consists of a number of fully refurbished Superior, Double, Twin & Single bedrooms. Superior bedrooms are larger in size to standard doubles and most have a comfortable seating area. All rooms are en-suite with bath and shower cradle, remote control colour TV with teletext and are all non smoking. Direct dial telephone, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and hospitality beverage tray are standard to all rooms. All double rooms have 5' King Size Beds! With full pocket sprung mattresses.


Before lunch or dinner, enjoy a drink in the relaxing licensed bar or lounge. The Abbey Restaurant is the perfect place to visit for a meal specially prepared using fresh local produce. We offer a regularly changing menu along with a special dish of the day, all prepared and cooked to order by our excellent team of chefs. As you would expect we cater for vegetarians and with a little advance notice, special dietary requirements as well.
