Superb modern open-plan apartments and comfortable bed & breakfast rooms at Symonds Yat Rock on the Wye Valley.

Set in quiet wooded surroundings, overlooking the stunning Ruardean valley and opposite many footpaths into the Forest of Dean and to the Wye, Symonds Yat Rock Lodge is a peaceful, scenic location ideal for exploring:

- Forest of Dean
- Monmouthshire and Welsh borders

- Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds

A perfect base for walking (dogs welcome), canoeing, wildlife, adrenalin activities, sightseeing and attractions, or just relaxing in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Relax in comfortable, Four Star bed & breakfast accommodation with views across the rolling countryside.

All rooms are self-contained with their own front door. We have four-poster, twin, double and family (double bed plus single bed) rooms.

All are en suite with showers, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and flatscreen TVs with Freeview, radio, DVD and CD player.

Breakfast is served in the adjacent dining room, which opens onto the guests' garden where you can be served breakfast or just relax, admire the scenery and watch the birds.

Self-catering appartment excellent with wonderful uninterrupted views at the back and the Forest immediately across the road to the front. Great local walks. Couldn't wish for better.

It was only a short stay which was a shame, nice setting, warm welcome and comfortable. Good pub recommended to us! The only minor downfall- the room was smaller than expected along with the bathroom and the carpet could be updated, however I would stay again and would recommend as well.
