Sunnymeade
Sunnymeade is a charming, small, comfortable guest house with a large enclosed garden. Award winning home cooked food using fresh local produce is served in our restaurant. Special diets can be catered for and there is always a vegetarian choice on the menu. We have a cosy licensed bar for a welcome drink after a busy day.

We offer guided walking holidays, golfing breaks and surfing breaks. We have a place to clean and dry your wet suit, outdoor clothes and boots, storage for surfboards and equipment and secure parking for vehicles Golf can also be arranged at nearby ranges.

Sunnymeade is situated in North Devon between the beautiful golden sandy beaches of Woolacombe , Croyde and Saunton Sands, and close to Exmoor and the South West Coast Path. Our position is ideal for exploring the beautiful countryside and coastline of North Devon and Exmoor National Park. The Tarka Trail has footpaths and cycle ways covering 180 miles of stunning countryside, with a rich diverse landscape that makes up one of the most popular destinations in the country If you are looking for accessible accommodation, then Sunnymeade is the place for you.

We found Sunnymeade on the dog friendly holidays website. Lynda and Michael were very welcoming to us and our elderly dog, Sandy. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. Our full English breakfast was lovely. We would definitely recommend Sunnymeade for a holiday in N Devon.

Upon arrival we were shown to our accommodation (a ground floor room since my husband has difficulty with stairs) and immediately offered tea following our journey. Breakfast was ordered each evening and tea/coffee was plentiful at the table. The room was clean and well furnished and the en-suite was well maintained. Because my husband had a fall whilst we were at Appledore and hospitalised I had to ask if it was possible for me to stay until my niece or friends returned to the area some five days later. Mr and Mrs Hunt were kindness itself and I enjoyed some excellent evening meals with locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables, and home made desserts. As the weather was a little chill in the evenings it was good to have the heating put on (despite it still being September). I would have no hesitation in recommending Sunnymeade to friends or family.

On arrival we were served a fresh pot of tea in the lounge (VERY WELCOME). Rooms clean and tidy, plenty of easy parking and only a short drive to Woolacombe beach or Ilfracombe. Would use again.
