Sundial House
Whether staying on holiday or on business one of our extensive range of rooms will meet with your requirements, from single or twin rooms with standard facilities to double or family en-suite rooms.

All our rooms are central heated and have TV, tea/coffee making facilities and are furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are a non-smoking establishment.

Sundial Guest House is situated in the southern approach to the market town of Kendal - opposite Kendal College. Known locally as 'the Auld Grey Town', Kendal town centre is an easy 5 minute walk an extensive choice of shops, restaurants and attractions.

There are many places of interest in Kendal - they include the Museum of Lakeland Life, Abbot Hall Art Gallery, the Brewery Arts Centre, the Quaker Tapestry and the 13th century Kendal Castle. Whilst in the town why not try the world famous Kendal mint cake.

For the more energetic there is a well equipped leisure Centre including a swimming pool. There is a Dry Ski Slope, a Climbing Wall, 5 Golf courses within a 20 minute drive, and 2 within a 5 minute drive, as well as two Golf Driving ranges. Leisure walks and Cycle Routes are in abundance.

In the end i didn't come to Kendal, but becaus of the very helpful way I was contacted by Sundial I will certainly endeavour to stay at Sundial when next I am able to make a visit.

Welcoming, knowledgable about local attractions & facilities and very helpful. Secure and clean premises with great full english breakfast. Easy walk into Kendal shops. I would stay there again & I recommend it.
