Southland House is a high quality family run Guest House offering bed & breakfast accommodation, situated on the outskirts of Cheddar Village.Southland House is a non smoking establishment.We are approximately one mile from the famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We are close to Cheddar Reservoir which is popular for sailing, fishing and bird watching.There is off-road parking for three cars.All our bedrooms are spacious, en-suite and colour co-ordinated.Colour TV, tea and coffee facilities, comfortable beds and full central heating.

Our dining room and conservatory overlooks our prize winning patio.Children under 12 years sharing with parents half price.
Single occupancy from £30.You are welcome to sit outside and relax, weather permitting!

Really enjoyed the stay.. accommodation was good and very comfortable double bed with a memory mattress! The proprietor was very helpful and friendly but not too friendly! Only thing I would have liked differently is to have had a selection of a full cooked breakfast instead of being asked what we would like as I didn't know what was on offer? So when I asked for scramble eggs instead of fried I thought I may have had baked beans and a sausage would have been included but did not have a sausage on any of the days but when I asked for beans I did get them on the 3rd and 4th day. I may go there again though as so near cheddar and very near town centre and reasonably priced.

Very enjoyable stay. Comfortable room & good breakfast. After a long journey down a welcoming offer of tea/coofee wuld have been very much appreciated though. I would recommend this to anyone. If I am down Somerset way again Southland House will be my first point of enquiry.
