Family run hotel. Convenient for shops, beach, railway station,cinema etc. All rooms are en-suite and have tea making facilities, hairdryers,iron and ironing boards. Full English breakfast is included. Evening meals provided to order. We have a seperate dining room and a comfortable bar lounge and small games room with pool table, darts etc. Also garden for guests use. No parking restrictions. Access at all times.
All rooms are "no smoking". Garden has Gazebo for smokers in
inclement weather.

doreen Family Visit United Kingdom Stayed: 03/03/2011 - 05/03/2011	10 Very comfortablesty. We were lucky to find a guesthouse with a family room for 5. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. The games room was handy for our teenage children who enjoyed a game of pool whilst we had a drink at the bar. All in all a very pleasand and comfortable stay. Will book again next time in area.
mrs mary murray Family Visit Ireland	7 i found the hotel very basic but comfortable. it was cold in the rooms without central heating but radiators were provided. i did think the breakfast was a bit long winded and hopefully you were not starving as the tea came out about ten minutes before the meal

yvonne perkins Family Visit United Kingdom Stayed: 11/09/2009 - 14/09/2009	10 had a lovely stay in selwood lodge, friendly helpful owners, sweet little dog to cuddle, room was very clean, tea, coffee and biscuits replenished every day, room has tv, iron ironing board and hair dryer, comfy lounge and bar, big garden to relax, and breakfast was a feast, also vegetarians like me were well catered for, as well as a full english etc, toast, tea and a choice of different coffee, plenty of parking, and a short walk to the shops and seafront, would stay again and recommend highly
