A warm and friendly welcome always awaits our guests at The Royal Clifton Hotel. An AA 3 Star Best Western Hotel, with a Victorian façade, featuring fabulous accommodation and facilities. We are situated on the Promenade and are the only main hotel offering panoramic views across the North West coastline, in a town famous for it's golf, beaches, shopping and events.

The Royal Clifton Hotel consists of 111 tastefully furnished bedrooms and suites, befitting a Three Star Best Western Hotel.
The executive Suites comprises of beautifully decorated lounge overlooking the Kings Gardens, lavishly appointed bathroom and of course a luxurious bedroom.

Some of the mini suites benefit from a four poster bed or jacuzzi bath ensuring the perfect choice for that special occasion The family Bedrooms are extensive range of over 20 Family Bedrooms. Scaffolding in front of window in first room allocated. No mention of the repairs at time of booking. However, they did move us to another room which was very pleaseant. really nice people there from the receptionists to the cook. Food of a good standard also.

the hotel was excellent value for money, we stayed in the birkdale suite which was fabulous. the food was also top class, there were only 2 small issues, 1 was the car park cost £2 per night which is something ive never experianced before at a hotel and the lift was far too small for the amount of people wishing to use it.

The Room was ok but there was a hole in the top of the wall and an iron mark on the carpet but it was very clean. There was two weddings on and it was still very noisy at 4.30am so we hardly had any sleep - If you go make sure there is not a wedding on!
