Established in 1845, and steeped in history and tradition, our small campus, set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, encourages a sense of community among our students. We offer a stimulating and unique learning environment in which to study, that both develops and encourages our students to achieve their future dreams.
Many thoughts are probably going through your mind about furthering your education at the Royal Agricultural College, we hope this guide will give you an insight to what we can offer you and help you to make the right choice.
We know that your room will not just be a place to study and sleep, it will be your space to call 'home' and the location will be a key part of meeting new people and hopefully making friends for life. Accessible rooms are available in Coad Court and Woodlands Lodge.
Rooms are allocated on a "first come first served" basis and the application will not be processed until a place has been offered, accepted and deposit paid. Priority is given to first year and overseas students, however, many students wish to continue living on campus after their first year and there is often limited space available.
Fancy sharing? If you know another student that is already here or will be joining with you there is the option of having a twin ensuite room, which will also cut the cost. All you need to do is make it known on your application form, however they are limited so your application will need to be received early.
There are seven locations where rooms are situated, 5 for undergraduates and 2 for postgraduates, all with their own qualities and characteristics to suit everyone. Rooms vary from standard which share shower and toilet facilities to ensuite rooms all of which the Royal Agricultural College prides upon its high quality of accommodation. Each room has a bed, desk, wardrobe, bookshelf and bedside table. A kettle is also provided. All rooms are under a catered tenancy agreement.
