Rosebank House
Rosebank House is a delightful Georgian House situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the town. The house was built for a Dundee Boot and Shoe Manufacturer in 1836 and still retains many original features. Queen Victoria visiting Balmoral in 1849 was driven by coach past Rosebank House.

We have seven bedrooms, five with en-suite facilities and one with a private bathroom. All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the character of the house. Dinner at Rosebank House is a four course meal using the very best local produce and will appeal to those guests who appreciate fine traditional cooking served in a relaxing setting.

Year after year, our guests return to this lovely Georgian House, set in spacious gardens on the road to Braemar, Balmoral and the highlands. They appreciate fine food, prepared and served with loving care, and take for granted log fires, central heating, tea and coffee making facilities and quiet attention to detail. A five minute leisurely river-side walk takes our guests into the centre of Blairgowrie.

Carefully planned routes with distances to suit your mood, will give a pleasant drive to places of notable natural beauty. To deer reservations, wild fowl sanctuary, where the Grebe and the Osprey nest; rushing rivers with cascading waterfalls where the salmon continually challenge the leap; Forest walks and rambles to enjoythe solitude of the numerous Glens. Catch the magic moment of sunset over a loch or the breathtaking view from the top of a mountain. Glorious Perthshire, with its unsurpassed colours in the autumn, is another experience and not just another holiday.

We are within easy driving distance of Balmoral, Blair Atholl, Glamis Castles and Scone Palace. Historic St Andrews is only one hour's drive from Rosebank. There are many famous courses in the area and whether you prefer Championship, historic or scenic courses a choice of up to seventy are all within motoring distance of Rosebank.

The area is renowned for its salmon and trout fishing. The River Tay is one of Europe's principal Salmon Rivers and is fed by local rivers such as the Ericht and Isla. Good affordable fishing is widely available in the area. We have freezing and drying room facilities.
