Riverside Lodge Guest House, Ingleton

Riverside Lodge is a delightful period house on the main street of Ingleton village. The property enjoys terraced gardens and lovely views of the River Greta. It offers 7 comfortable bedrooms, one of which are contained in a characterful coach house adjacent to the main house and two of the rooms are located on the ground floor.

There is an inviting lounge with a fire and lots to read. Breakfast and evening meals are taken in the conservatory that is ideally situated to enjoy the panoramic views over the River Greta.

Riverside Lodge has its very own sauna ideal for melting away those worries and rejuvenating yourself after a days walking. There is also a games room with pool/snooker table and darts - ideal for relaxing at the end of the evening, or for entertaining the children.

The Waterfalls Trail is also a must for visitors opened at the end of the 19th Century it attracts thousands of visitors annually. It consists of a number of picturesque waterfalls streching just over 4 miles. Taking approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete.

Nearby is the famous Settle to Carlisle railway perfect for the special day's outing. Ingleborough is one of the famous 3 peaks. Popular with fell walkers. The village also boasts an outdoor heated swimming pool. Popular with both locals and visitors during the summer months.

Ingleton lies at the North West extreme of the Yorkshire Dales. Nestling at the foot of Ingleborough which rises some 723 metres above the village. Famous as a centre for fell walking and pot-holing, Ingleton is also a superb base for touring the surrounding area. The Lake District and Trough of Bowland are easily reached within the hour.
