Rescobie is a beautiful, traditional country house hotel and restaurant situated in the heart of the historic kingdom of Fife. The house is a listed building dating back to the 1930's and to this day retains much of its original character and features.

Set in the village of Leslie, Rescobie is an ideal base for exploring Fife whilst offering excellent road and rail links to Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh, the cathedral town of Perth and the home of golf, St. Andrews.

All ten of our bedrooms are individually designed and tastefully furnished with en-suite facilities and views over looking our secluded and peaceful gardens. For your convenience iron, ironing boards and trouser presses are available as well as a dry cleaning service.

The restaurant at Rescobie is comfortable yet intimate and offers a range of dishes incorporating some of Scotland 's finest produce on a regularly changing table D'hote menu. Dinner is served daily combining good quality food with value for money. Our chef would be delighted to cater for any special dietary requirements. To compliment your meal we can offer a choice from our carefully selected wine list. After dinner, sit back, relax and enjoy coffee and liqueurs in the comfort of the drawing room.

Rescobie House is the perfect venue for a small, intimate wedding. Our careful planning and attention to detail assure you of a perfect and relaxed day. We are delighted to be able to offer both religious and civil ceremonies. A typical wedding at Rescobie:-

Arrive to the sounds of the bagpipes, enjoy drinks in the lounge, and take your seats for the ceremony. Congratulations and bubbly, naturally on the lawn if the weather allows us, while the photographer works his/her magic. Dinner is served! Time for those dreaded speeches. Retire to the lounge for coffee, cake and liqueurs, the four poster awaits.
