Redlands Country Lodge
EASTER SHORT BREAKS SPECIAL OFFERS - CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE. www.redlandslodge.com.
Redlands Country Lodge is a bed & breakfast with a difference near Cupar, Fife. Our log cabin guest house is set in Ladybank in the heart of Fife, with terraced log cabin rooms, individually styled with their own entrances and ensuite shower rooms. You'll find our B&B in a countryside setting between the wee villages of Ladybank and Pitlessie, just off the A92 or A91 about 5 miles from Cupar and close to many historic towns and villages such as St. Andrews and Falkland.

We're different from many B&B's in that our rooms are completely separate from the main house so you can come and go as you please whilst exploring Fife. With rates from £35pppn, you can stay for as little as one night in one room or book all 4 rooms and our new WeeBothy with family and friends. We can sleep 12-14 people.

WeeBothy is our latest addition – a quirky converted sandstone building, right next to the log cabins. Sleeps to 4 and is ideal for family breaks or a romantic break for 2. It has a cosy bedroom (with twin or kingsize bed), wee designer bathroom, relaxing lounge with double sofa bed and kitchen area (with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle etc) Patio doors open from the lounge to a decked area overlooking the fields beyond. It’s mini self-catering at its cutest!Available from £60pppn based on 2 sharing/min 2 night stay. Late booking rates may be available.

Redlands Country Lodge Guest House is ideal for a romantic short break in Fife; a stop over on business; for groups of friends, golfers, hen weekends, special birthdays; to visit St Andrews University; a base for guests attending weddings a Fernie Castle, Craigsanquhar Castle, and Kilconquhar Castle and Balbirnie House.

The relaxed atmosphere at Redlands Country Lodge Guest House means you can enjoy a great night's sleep and tuck in to a hearty Scottish breakfast served in the glorious conservatory garden room. We now have 7 of our own free-range hens to provide fresh eggs – yum! Enjoy a spot of bird watching over breakfast too; you'll maybe see jay's, woodpeckers, wagtails and even a heron or two.

Spend time lazing around in the communal log cabin lounge, take a dip in our huge Alaskan Cedar Hot Tub** overlooking farmland or check out the Scottish wildlife - including red squirrels - whilst walking in the local Fife woodlands. Children are welcome at Redlands Country Lodge Guest House and some of our rooms are dog-friendly. PLEASE CALL US OR EMAIL info@redlandslodge.com to check availability of pet friendly rooms - do not use our online booking system in the first instance.

Please call or email to enquire about availability for short breaks, pamper breaks, or an overnight stay in our great accommodation here at Redlands Country Lodge Guest House, we'd love to hear from you.

"Beautiful Place, friendly, easy to come and go, loved all of the animals around." We had a really fun break away from the norm, the wee bothy is ideal for a family like us. There was lots to do in the area and local towns, like Crail, Anstruther and St Andrews close by. Lovely people, beautiful surroundings, the dogs, horse and chickens were a huge hit with the kids. Hoping to come back in August again. Will recommend to all at work and have told lots of friends. Go for it, really recommend a stay here.

First visit and already trying to arrange next one. This place is a different level from any other we have stayed at (and that is a few). The accomodation, Food and hospitality are second to none and we were made to feel at home straight away. I can not put into words the weekend we had. Kate and Alan go the extra 10 milles. Room Tip: Use the hot tub!!!

Redlands was simply beautiful, so cosy and very well run. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the silence outside was blissfull. Breakfast was delicious and the conservatory it was served in was beautifully decorated. The family provided a lovely range of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals but we couldn't resist the cooked breakfast! - most of which was local produce We were lucky enough to have crisp, clear, weather on both the nights we stayed which made the hot tub amazing. The only bad part was getting out which we only did after several hours or relaxing and looking at the stars. There were plenty of games/books/local guides in the library area to enjoy of an evening. But we found it hard to drag ourselves from the hot tub! The rooms were a little smaller than I had anticipated but we didn't ever plan on spending much time in our rooms anyway. Gorgeous wee place, run with so much hard work from the family. I will definitely be going back

"The Chill Factor" Excellent stay, cabin so cosy and in lovely location, had an excellent time even though it rained throughout our stay, hot tub icing on the cake to a really chilled out few days. Alan and Kate are excellent hosts, its easy to see why people return again and again. Location well placed to visit most of Fife. Hope to go back early next year so that we can enjoy some walking next time. Read less Likes: Cabins cosy and very well furnished, lots of little touches that make you feel at home, excellent shower. "Relative hunting in Fife, 2011" This was an excellent base for our weekend in Fife. We did not know of Redlands but will happily recommend it to our friends. Kate and Allan are friendly and extremely helpful. Read less Likes: A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere enhanced by the provision of an extremely compfortable lounge which we used in the evening. The room was stylish and well appointed. Dislikes: Nothing comes to mind except the weather which is (presumably) outwith their control!

Amazing, beautiful and stunning individual lodges. Quite and warm rooms. We had the most amazing sleep and hot showers that we have ever had in a B&B. The couple who run the lodges are so welcoming and friendly and you honestly felt like you had made two new good friends. Breakfast was very tasty and always freshly made to meet everyones requirements. Would recommened Redlands Lodge to everyone. Location, uniqueness, welcoming hosts, breakfast truely a wee gem of a place.

Clean and tidy, welcoming owners. Great to relax in the cedarwood hot tub after a full day of powerkiting with tractionkiting.co.uk on the beach at St.Andrews. Great to get away from the city, breath in some fresh air and have the mobile switched off for a couple of days. Breakfast good - the haggis is always a nice welcome touch for a proper Scottish breakfast! Will try to book a break for the parents, or auntie&uncle. Thanks again.

Set just outside Ladybank the Lodge provided clean modern comfortable accommodation from which to launch into Fife and Edinburgh. Beautiful countryside surrounded the log cabins - there was a nice walk into the nearby forest for those reflective moments! The hosts were friendly and accommodating and served a hot breakfast guaranteed to set the day off on a good foot. The local Village Inn was great for a meal out - Steak and Haggis a speciality, as was the Crown Bar another nearby village.

Firstly and foremost, the people were brilliant. Extremely friendly, and very helpful. The breakfast was brilliant and the accommodation was very good value for money. ...on top of all that there is a hot tub.... the view from which is absolutely phenominal. The location is second to none... far enough away from cupar to feel out in the sticks but close enough to be convienient. We took our dog and the surrounding woods were perfect for walking her.... if i can advise maybe 1 thing that would have made an amazing stay jus a tad better, a little cd player next to the hot tub would have been a good touch. But if that is the only fault i can pick...the place was excellent and i look forward to staying there again soon....many thanks

What a little find. We really did stay in a cosy little log cabin with beautiful decor and the all-important comfy snuggly bed and hot shower (with usual complimentary smellies). We loved the little touches around the room and there is also a cute little communal lounge with electric log-burner and plenty of supplies in a communal fridge (spare water etc). Owners also said they would stock up with treats if asked in advance (drinks, crisps and chocolate etc). The hot tub looked so invited (but out of action while we were there due to severe weather conditions damaging a part – new part on order from Alaska we were told!). Breakfast was delicious and with a nice Scottish twist (haggis and 'potato bread'). Lots of traditional jams and preserves on offer too ‘and marmite’. Yum. We ate in the main conservatory and chatted with the other guests while we all watched the wildlife outside (rabbits, stout, horses, garden birds etc). The owners were very friendly and chatty, and had lots of i
