My mother and sister and I stayed at the hotel . We received a lovely welcome from the staff. The receptionist was particularly helpful and had a great sense of humour about single rooms. My mother and sister paid extra to have sea view and waht a fantasic room it was. My room was much better than the usual single rooms and awas described as "lovley" by the receptionist. It was a good room but no view but was good to have a double bed. The food at breakfast and in the vening was superb and I would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to anyone

I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Red Lea. All the staff were most helpful and I also enjoyed the cuisine and will indeed stay there again next year, when I next visit Scarborough.
