Jan and Duncan Allsopp welcome you to Rawcliffe House Farm Cottages and B&B.

The country-style self-catering cottages and bed and breakfast rooms have been tastefully converted from the farm barns, retaining many original features of rustic beams and stonework.

The four sunny cottages and three bed and breakfast cottage rooms nestling amongst 42 acres of beautiful open countryside, just six miles north of Pickering, are ideal for a relaxing break with only the sounds of the countryside to disturb your peace.

3 GROUND FLOOR B&B ROOMS....

We have three comfortable ground floor en-suite bed and breakfast (B&B) guest rooms at Rawcliffe House, one king size, one double and one superking/twin size.

The rooms are separate to the farmhouse, ground floor and situated around our south facing courtyard . Many guests enjoy sitting out in the courtyard. Some even eat there in the evening.

Spacious rooms with old oak beams and loads of character are a strong feature at Rawcliffe House. The modern en-suite bathrooms are full sized bathroom with a shower over bath.

We are proud to have been awarded a Silver Award for Excellence from the English Tourism Council for the quality of our B&B guest accommodation and our service.

Every morning we serve a delicious full Yorkshire breakfast using only the finest local produce to set you up for a day walking on the moors or exploring the Yorkshire coastline.
All our bed & breakfast rooms are fully centrally heated and double glazed, enabling all year round use. We also have a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer . Also there is a fridge available for B&B guests.

All rooms have two armchairs, television and hospitality tray .

Jan & Duncan offer you a warm welcome to Rawcliffe House Farm near Pickering.

Rawcliffe House Farm is the family home of Jan and Duncan Allsopp. We live adjacent to the cottages in the original farm house, from which we serve the biggest Deliciously Yorkshire Breakfast for our B&B guests.

Our nearby self-catering cottages and B&B rooms are surrounded by 42 acres of meadows, woodland and pastures . Although the farm is no longer worked, the fields are grazed by cattle belonging to a local farmer. However, we do look after an assortment of smaller animals much to the delight of our guests including Pygmy Goats, Hens and Chickens, Muscovy and Mallard Ducks, two black Labrador Dogs, two Cats and a friendly Pheasant called Freddie.

We are only 6 miles from the bustling market town of Pickering. This lovely Yorkshire town has a wide variety of family owned shops, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, pubs, take-aways, a quaint little cinema, steam railway and its very own castle and museum. There is also a swimming pool and sports centre.
