Ravenstone Hotel, Bassenthwaite

Ravenstone Hotel is a delightful country hotel set in over 2 acres of its own grounds, just 4 miles from Keswick and close to Bassenthwaite in the Lake District.

There are spectacular views over Bassenthwaite Lake with open countryside for fell walking and site seeing. You will find the hotel warm and welcoming providing everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

All 19 bedrooms have en-suite facilities, some with bathroom and shower, and some with a shower room. Our restaurant serves a mix of traditional and modern dishes and we have an extensive wine cellar to suit all tastes.

We also have ample car parking facilities. Ravenstone is a highly recommended Lakeland hotel with many of our guests returning on a regular basis. We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel in the near future.

DIRECTIONS
From the M6 junction 40
Follow the A66 West for 17 miles. At the roundabout at the bottom of the hill take the third exit onto the A591. The Ravenstone Hotel is approximately 4 miles on the Right Hand Side.

From Keswick Town Centre
At the mini roundabout at Tithebarn Street follow the A591 North. Turn Right just before the Catholic Church still following the A591. You will soon approach a big roundabout in which you go straight across. Ravenstone Hotel is 4 miles on the Right Hand Side

RESTAURANT
Enjoy our appetising, traditional and modern style cooking in our dining room, whilst enjoying the superb atmosphere and views of the surrounding area. We serve a fixed price 4 course evening meal every day and the menu changes daily.

Vegetarian, coeliac and other special diet menus are always available and we do try to provide any special requests where possible. If you would like an evening meal please advise us either when you make the reservation, or whilst you are staying here.

Our restaurant is open to non-residents 7 nights a week and we serve dinner from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Please let us know when you want to dine by using our online reservation form and we will accomodate you and your party to suit your requirements.
