Ravenshill House Hotel
Welcome to Ravenshill Hotel. A large sandstone house built in 1874 as the home of the Factor of the Estate of Lockerbie. There is a lovely garden with lawns and areas for guests to sit, mature trees and a private car park. It has been converted to a hotel retaining many of the traditional features but with all modern comforts. We aim for a warm, friendly and relaxed air at Ravenshill. We are easy to find from the A74 motorway, we are situated on the A709 in a quiet residential area on the edge of the village 5 minutes walk west of the town centre.

We have eight individual bedrooms all of which have double or twin beds, most with views of our garden and the surrounding countryside, two also have double bed settees for children so we can accommodate families together. One large double room has a four-poster bed., (we are only 15 mins. from Gretna Green). All bedrooms have colour television, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, and private facilities
Rooms are available from 2.00pm on day of arrival, and should be vacated by 11.00am on day of departure: but if you would like to arrive earlier please phone to make arrangements! All bedrooms are upstairs and non-smoking. We take a non-refundable deposit of £20.00 per night. We accept Credit and Debit cards. Rooms cancelled at less than 48 hours notice may be liable for the full amount of reserved accommodation for the first night. All the above rates include V.A.T.

Our attractive dining room can seat up to 48 people comfortably, with the conservatory extention seating 25 on its own. Backing onto our private gardens, it's ideal for small weddings, and private dinner parties or meetings. We are renowned for the quality of our food, with many people returning regularly to sample our menus. The hotel is capacious and we had a large and pleasant room with a sofa as well as a four poster bed. The decor was a little confused in terms of contrasting patterns and the bathroom modest. Food is excellent and the hotel makes a very pleasant base for a stay in the area
