Welcome to the Rangemoor Park Hotel. The Hotel is situated in the city centre of Derby and is within easy walking distance of all popular tourist attractions and business areas of the city. Derby's position at the heart of the country means it has excellent road, rail and air links. With the help of our well-trained and pleasant staff our emphasis is on making your stay a friendly, enjoyable and comfortable one.

A city centre bed and breakfast hotel which is within easy walking distance to the Eagle centre, popular tourist attractions and business areas of the city. It has been family-owned and run for over 28 years by John and Val Richardson.

There are two types of accommodation, those with en suite facilities being larger, while standard rooms, though somewhat smaller, are equally well presented. Although the rooms may vary in style and decor, all are kept immaculate by the efficient staff.

The friendly reception staff and night porter are available 24 hours a day to assist you in any way. Just off the entrance lobby is a lounge as well as a spacious breakfast room where the English breakfast is freshly prepared to order and is served to you. It also offers a large, free private car park loctaed at the rear.

The en-suite rooms offer every modern facility including: TV, Radio, direct dial telephone, auto alarm, hair dryer, ironing facilities and hospitality trays. The 11 standard rooms and furnished to a high standard and include wash basin, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, radio. auto alarm, hair dryer and irnong facilities.

Directions:

At the A38 / A52 roundabout take the A52 Ashbourne Road to Derby city centre. At the 2nd main set of traffic lights follow the road in the right hand lane and at the next set of lights turn right. At the lights go straight on DO NOT TURN RIGHT. At the next lights take your 3rd right onto Abbey Street. Take your 1st left onto Macklin Street and the hotel is on the right. The car park entrance is below the hotel sign.

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff; useful to have the parking in central Derby and also that we could bring our dog. Breakfast would have been improved if there were muesli available instead of just 'sweet' cereals and the croissants aren't great even when warm. But we'd stay again if in Derby because of the friendliness and convenience of location.
