Purdy Lodge was built in 1994 and offers twenty en-suite bedrooms with the convenience of an in-house Bar & Restaurant.

We serve a range of food to suit all tastes & all pockets and our easy to find location is ideal for enjoying the unrivalled coastlines and attractions in the area.

Purdy Lodge is situated just off the A1 between Alnwick and Berwick upon Tweed and just 5 miles inland from Bamburgh.

Room rather cold when we arrived but, after turning on the heater and a trip to the bar for a while, it was great.

Visit to relatives living nearby so only used for bed and breakfast purposes. Met all our needs and expectations. Room clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Good, friendly service. Would certainly stay again.
