i had a lovely stay at Pulteney house. The bedroom was very small so wouldnt recommend for large people but decor and breakfast were excellent. Location was also very handy. The house itself was very gracious with pretty gardens

Even though I arrived several hours earlier than I expected I was greeted with a warm welcome and shown to my room.It was clean, tastefully decorated and definitely adequate for my needs. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety to choose from and the staff were attentive and friendly too.The distance from Bath town centre was around 8 mins on flat ground.Best of all they even organised 4 warm sunny days for me. How's that for hospitality! I've been recommending Pultney House to my family, friends and colleagues. I will definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff, who made my mum and me feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast service from a young lad, who made sure that we had everything we needed. The hotel was very confortable and highly recommended.

Very nice and excellent location, a short walk across a bridge into the heart of the action. Good value considering the location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pulteney House. There were little tables on the lawn where we had our tea; the owners came over and visited as though we were friends. The room was comfortable and clean. The hot chocolate packets were a nice addition to the usual tea and coffee.

We had a lovely weekend in Bath and the hotel is ideally situated ,just 10 minute walk to the centre via a pleasant tree lined pavement..The hotel rooms were very pleasant and comfortable with a good breakfast served promtly. The propreitor was very pleasant and helpful. The only downside was one of the serving staff was very brusque and the front rooms could be a bit noisy from early morning traffic, but not a problem during the night. Overall I would recommend this hotel, especially with the free parking which is a bonus in busy Bath.

I didn't actually stay, it was my wife and my sister. They really enjoyed their stay, even though their room was in the basement. The room was on the small side but really clean and they thought the breakfasts were excellent. They did mention that every time someone went to the toilet and flushed it, the noise was very loud and woke them up during the night. But that apart they thought it was value for money and enjoyed their stay.

The breakfast was amazing, and the staff absolutely delightful. They couldn't do enough for us, and were sunny and smiley. Our room was behind the house, and a little smaller than I'd expected, but the location was excellent and close to town, and the rooms were lovely nevertheless. Very satisfied customers - many thanks!
