Ptarmigan House
Gordon and Lin Muirhead are pleased to welcome you to Ptarmigan House, a Scottish Tourist Board Three-Star guest house created from a 19th century shooting lodge. We offer first class bed and breakfast accommodation. Our bedrooms are bright, tastefully decorated, and all have en suite facilities. The House sits in its own grounds with ample parking.
Pubs, restaurants, swimming pool, leisure facilities and a golf course are all within five minutes' walk.

Blair Atholl is an ideal centre or touring the Highlands, walking the hills and mountains, golf and mountain biking.

We are just one mile from Blair Castle, traditional home of the Dukes of Atholl and the Atholl Highlanders, and one of Scotland's best known castles. Three miles to the south is Killiecrankie, site of the famous battle.

We also offer Three-Star self catering accommodation in a separate house that sleeps up to eight.

Ptarmigan House (pronounced Tarmigan) lies on the south side of Blair Atholl. The house was originally a shooting lodge and possesses fine views towards the hills. The rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with television and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have en suite facilities.
Breakfast is served in the large dining room. Guests can choose either a continental breakfast or a traditional cooked breakfast.

Room was clean tidy and plenty of room for a family of 3. Shower wasn't working properly but thia didn't cause a problem as it was just one night stay. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice.
