Pressland Country House, Okehampton

Luxury 4 Star Section: Pressland House is a delightful Victorian Manor House standing in 1 ½ acres of landscaped garden with glorious views of Dartmoor and surrounding countryside.

Located 5 miles north of Okehampton and 2 miles from the market town of Hatherleigh, the hotel provides an excellent base to explore Dartmoor, Exmoor and the north Devon and Cornish coasts. Walking, golf, cycling, riding and fishing are available locally. The spacious, en suite bedrooms all have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a large drawing room, a dining room and a separate bar. The dining menu is changed nightly, with the emphasis on freshly-prepared, local produce. The hotel has a Residential and Dining licence.

Directions:
Follow signs off main A30 into Okehampton. From the centre of the town, turn north at the traffic lights, signed A386 to Hatherleigh. After two miles, turn right at the T junction. Pressland House can be seen on the right hand side after another three miles. The turning into the hotel is almost opposite a tile-roofed well on the left hand side. Hatherleigh is another two miles further on.
