Lovely room, clean with TV and kettle with complimentary teas, hot chocolate etc. Main disadvantage is that room does not have double glazing and so traffic noise could be heard - took quite a while to get to sleep. Low pressure water with shower ; shower head help up with elastic! Otherewise, good breakfast and friendly staff. Room was warm - clean sheets and towels. They basically need to invest in double glazing, so you can get a good night's sleep.

The overall of the enviornment is good. However, can't feel the hospitality during stay since the person we faced and nego with is never smile. Which is a bit weird, i never met this kind of hospitality.

The single room was very small and noisy with just a single door to the reception area. Not much light because of 'frosted' window. Very nice breakfast room and garden.

Very welcoming and the room was toasty and warm despite the appalling snow and ice outside. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked to perfection. I don't normally have cooked breakfast but would recommend this one most highly. All together a superb place to stay,

very kind and flexible with me. i appreciated that very much. everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent room clean and spacious. only difficulty was that room 8 is close to reception and dining room and lounge so sleep a little disturbed. overall excellent and would stay again. Thank you

I stayed at Pickwicks Guest House. I was very comfortable and the owners were very welcoming. My only suggestion is that they invest in double glazing as the Guest House is very close to the main road. Thanks. Joan King

Lovely B&B with a georgeous garden, nice clean decor and a postive ambience. Close enough (25 mins) pleasant walk to Oxford centre or a short bus ride away. Felt comfortable and safe as a single woman. The only problem being a blockage in the shared shower area.

I very much enjoyed my stay. It is a very comfortable B and B. The rooms were generously heated as it was November, maybe a little too generous, but it's better than being cold. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety.

On the down side, the shower was either scalding or cold, the TV was tiny, and I doubt that "the only room available" was a GBP60 double, as the place was deserted. On the plus side, heating was good and the breakfast - magificent!
