My wife, teenage daughter and I stayed at the Pickmere on the 29th October for one night. I would agree with previous reviews in that the atmosphere is most conducive to a relaxing stay... the hosts were most welcoming and helpful, even having to hand menus for the two local pubs. The room was very comfortable and we all slept well. Personally I think the room could do with a little decorative TLC, but having said that the TV's are currently being replaced with digital TV's. The full english breakfast was a delight and set us up for the day. We have plans to return here on our next trip. The Elms Pub down the road was really good.... a real welcome with real beer and very good value food.

Excellent venue. Very tastefully decorated and owner friendly and helpful. Hearty breakfasts. Residents lounge with TV. I had a single room with shared bathroom and paid £5/nt extra as I had my dog with me. B&B met my needs as in convenient location for Knutsford & other villages I was visiting. Can recommend The Elms (pub) almost next door for food, but go with an empty stomach and healthy appetite.

I had a very pleasant stay in Pickmere Country Guest House. Although brief, I found the staff very welcoming and friendly. My single room was sizeable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great while the gardens are beautiful also. All in all, a very nice stay and would recommend to anyone.

A spacious room which was warm and comfortable during very cold temperatures. Breakfasts were good and the food fresh with good choices. The only negatives were from hearing voices in conversation from other guests through the walls in the morning. Overall we were very happy.
