Penryn House is situated in tranquil surroundings close to the heart of Polperro, probably the most picturesque of Cornwall’s fishing villages where the working harbour nestles among the quaint narrow lands and whitewashed cottages. From our House you have easy access to the coastal paths, where walks offer breathtaking views of just a short journey will let you explore many other interesting attractions in the area such as The Eden Project, National Trust Properties such as Cotehele and Lanhydrock, and the National parks of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.

The area is also rich with craft and art whilst the more activity minded can enjoy local riding, golf, sailing and of course the beaches and fishing. In our Country Style House we take pride in creating an immaculate and comfortable environment. You will enjoy a friendly service from Chris and Anna Pidcock and their staff.

You can relax in our lounge and bar and enjoy a drink, play one of the many board games available or read the newspapers and books provided. The House is set back from the main village road and you will be among the few visitors allowed to drive into the village, as we have a car park for our guests. Our double/twin bedrooms are all en-suite and are tastefully furnished. Television, hairdryers and courtesy trays with tea, coffee, mineral water and drinking chocolate are provided. Most have direct dial telephones, alarm clocks and radios.

You can find us to Exeter via: M5 from Birmingham, M4 and M5 from London or M3 and A303 and A30 for a more scenic route. From Exeter: At Exeter the M5 becomes the A38, stay on it following signs to Plymouth. DON'T head for Plymouth city centre, stay on the A38 heading for the Tamar Bridge. Follow the A38 towards Liskeard. After approx 10 miles you will come to a large roundabout at Trerulefoot. Turn left onto the A374. After approx half a mile turn right, onto the A387 signed for Looe. You descend the hill into Looe follow the sign to Polperro (A387) over the bridge.
