Marc and Anne would like to welcome you to our small, friendly, family run Guest House. We offer high quality bed and breakfast accommodation and are close to the bus and train stations and only a few minutes from the town centre, heliport and harbour. We are close to, but not on the main road and many guests have commented how quiet our street is.

Penzance is the ideal base to explore West Penwith, famed for its golden sandy beaches and spectacular cliffs. Attractions such as Lands End, The Minack Theatre and St Michaels Mount, are easily reached by car or public transport. Day trips to the Isles of Scilly can easily be arranged by sea or air.

Penrose Guest House is a Grade II Listed Georgian building approximately two hundred years old, maintaining many of its original features. It is ideally situated for easy access to the town centre with its many shops and restaurants. We are open all the year round and have full central heating. We operate a non-smoking policy, for health and safety reasons, but smoking is allowed in the garden or under our covered porch.

We have three guest bedrooms. One double en-suite, one twin en-suite ( can be made up as a king-size for stays of 3 or more nights ) and one double, twin or family room with its own private facilities, just across the landing, comprising kingsize shower cubicle, washbasin, bidet and WC. All rooms are comfortably furnished with LCD colour televisions, with Freeview and DVD/CD players.There is a free DVD library for guests.Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Supplies also include decaf coffee, herbal tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. Guests have access to their rooms at all times and are welcome to relax in our spacious dining room, where there are a selection of books and DVD's to borrow, as well as games to play. Weather permitting, why not relax in our south facing mature gardens and soak up the sun.

We willingly cater for people with special dietary requirements. Please let us know, at the time of booking, and we will get in any special foods or drinks required, so we can make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We operate an environmentally friendly policy, which includes recycling of all recyclable materials. The cooperation of our guests is greatly appreciated.

WINTER SPECIAL - Book 3 nights, only pay for 2. Applies to bookings commencing between 1st November 2008 and 28th February 2009. Based on minimum 2 people sharing a room.
