Penpark Country House Bed And Breakfast
Penpark is a beautiful country house within the Dartmoor National Park designed by Clough Williams Ellis (of Portmeirion fame). There are stunning hilltop views and extensive formal and woodland gardens, a hard tennis court and ample secure parking. The house is a perfect blend of elegance, style and homely comfort and all the rooms are light and spacious and furnished to a high standard. We are close to golf courses, riding stables and wonderful walking on the moor, by the sea or along the river Dart. There are good pubs and restaurants near by and our nearest town Ashburton a very popular place to eat or shop.

We came for the races at Exeter but wanted to stay at Penpark as we were interested in the Clough Williams Ellis connection. What a lovely house and we had a very comfortable and warm bedroom. Delicious breakfast too!

I am an art historian and am head of school art in Melbourne. Work brings us to Uk quite often and Penpark was the best b and b we have ever had. Home from home, charming hosts, beautiful house and lovely grounds. What a find! We'll be back!
