This is the only B&B or hotel in Northamptonshire to be recommended for the past three years in the Good Hotel Guide. Both the GHG and the Sunday Observer have commented on the "extremely good value and well furnished accommodation" offered at this very friendly family run 18th century country house..
In an ideal location in the heart of England and the picturesque village of West Haddon, just 4 miles from the M1 motorway, junction 18 and a Central trains station. Exceptional stately homes and glorious gardens are just a few minutes drive.
Pear Trees is unlicensed so guests are welcome to bring their own wine and aperitifs. These can be enjoyed in the beautiful garden or by the log fire before having a delicious homemade evening meal cooked in an ancient Aga oven alternatively good pubs and restaurants are a few minutes walk away.
Walkers are spoilt for choice with The Jurassic Way Long Distance Path actually passing through the village. The Grand Union Canal and the beautiful reservoirs of Hollowell and Ravensthorpe just a few miles away where bird watching, trout fishing and sailing can be enjoyed.
