Park Lodge Bungalow
Park Lodge Bungalow is set in a lovely garden quietly situated off the main road but only a five minute walk to the centre of Blandford Forum.
Our bungalow is very comfortable and our ground floor guest rooms with large windows have distant views of Bryanston Woods. We have a double room (ensuite) and a twin with private facilities. Both rooms have TV, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We also offer WiFi for you to use your own computer.
We would like you to have a good English breakfast but we can also offer anything else to your taste. Home made marmalade and jam is a speciality. Relax in our beautiful garden.
There is off road parking.
Blandford Forum is a Georgian Market Town which was completely rebuilt in 1731 following the great fire, it is a good centre for exploring the lovely Dorset countryside. This is also Hardy country for those of you who love his books. Blandford is also near the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site to which many people flock to experience the beautiful coastline and also to look for fossils. Interesting towns such as Wimborne and Shaftesbury are nearby as are two houses of particular interest, one Kingston Lacy which is an important National Trust Property and Althelhampton House which dates back to the 17th Century.
Blandford itself has a small but interesting museum and there is a Cavalcade of Costume museum which has a display of historical costume set in a Georgian house. Nearby is the Signals museum at Blandford Camp and the Tank Museum at Bovington.

One of the nicest B+B we ever had. A lovely bungalow, a gorgeous garden, a great breakfast and a very quiet setup. Many thanks. A definite recommendation!!!

Very highly recommended - best B&B we have stayed in for many years. Owners most helpful yet unobtrusive; directions very clear. Venue is quiet, very comfortable and pleasant; breakfast is brilliant. No other guest on first night (previous reviewer must be entirely mistaken); other room occupied on our second night but no disturbance.
