Situated on the main A565 Liverpool - Southport Road, we are ideally placed for travel to both of these very popular destinations. Ample car parking space is available, regular bus services pass our door, and Waterloo Rail Station on the Liverpool - Southport line is only a few minutes walk away.

A stay at Park House. Park house, which was built in 1878 as the home for a Liverpool corn merchant and his family, is set in two acres of beautiful gardens, enhanced by a lake, which attracts a variety of wildlife. For generations of local people, the name Park House has been synonymous with caring hospitality, whether operating as a private hospital, a maternity hospital or as a nursing home. Now that same hospitality is available to a wider public as the Augustinian Sisters take Park House into a new chapter in its history - as a guest house.

We offer both Bed and Breakfast and Full Board. For those who wish to just relax, our resident's lounge and extensive grounds offer ample opportunity for peace and quiet. The guest house forms part of our convent buildings, and guests are invited to use the Chapel for quiet prayer and reflection. You are also more than welcome to join the Sisters for Mass. For those wanting a more active break, our proximity to major centres and ease of travel, makes us an ideal base. Crosby's Civic Theatre and Library are adjacent, The Plaza cinema is a few minutes walk away, and churches, shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

I had a very pleasant 2 nights, the staff were lovely and friendly, the breakfast was adequate (for me).. The B&B was in a good location (for me) my room was clean, it was nice and quiet, no outside noise from traffic etc.. my only problem was that i found the bed quite uncomfortable, but maybe that is because i am used to sleeping in a large bed rather than a small single one..

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Included a cooked breakfast, fruit juice and cereal (no fresh fruit) so a bargain in my eyes. We would use Park House again if we were in the area.
