Ormsary Farm B and B and Self Catering
Situated in a quiet Scottish glen, Ormsary Farm Bed and Breakfast and self-catering bungalow offers comfortable accommodation in scenic surroundings close to the Mull of Kintyre. There is always lots going on at the farm and during your visit you will meet our friendly collie dogs and see out Ayrshire calves in the fields.

At the farm we offer en-suite twin, double and family accommodation with television and tea-making facilities, and there is a lounge available for guests use. When not enjoying the hospitality at Ormsary, there are many activities for you to choose from locally from horse riding, golfing and hill walking to sea-tours around the Mull of Kintyre.

When not enjoying the comfortable surroundings at Ormsary there are many other outdoor activities close by to enjoy like trout fishing on local lochs and rivers, hill walking around the Mull or horse riding at the Equestrian Centre. For breathtaking scenery, why not take a walk to the Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse, made famous in Paul McCartney's song, and take along your binoculars, the ornithological enthusiast will not want to miss an opportunity.

There are numerous un-spoilt sandy beaches scattered around the friendly parish of Southend and if you visit St Columba's Footprints at Keil Bay, you will often see a mass of Seals lounging on the rocks below. A trip to the Mull of Kintyre made famous by Paul Mcartney, is well worth the views and ornithologists can look forward to the chance of seeing some rare birds of prey.

In the village of Southend you can treat yourself to a meal at the Argyll Arms Hotel, or at the Muneroy Tearoom. On a visit to Muneroy Stores you can pick up a newspaper and some groceries, and also some unique gifts and souvenirs to take home. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy a round or two at our local 18 hole links course, or will perhaps like to try the challenging course at Machrihanish.
