The Orchard Country Hotel is not just a hotel; it's a home and our guests are treated as good friends. There is a lovely atmosphere, the pace is a gentle one and we encourage our guests to unwind and relax.

A secluded sunny garden surrounds The Orchard Country Hotel. The garden has apple and pear trees of course, and places to sit out on warm lazy days.

We pride ourselves on our food, prepared with top quality ingredients and fresh local produce when possible. A hearty breakfast will set you up for the day and the table d'hôte menu changes daily.

The south facing sitting rooms are spacious, light and airy. Next to the dining room there is a small bar and we offer an interesting selection of wines. For the comfort of our guests, The Orchard Country Hotel is non smoking throughout. Vegetarian options are always available and we are happy to cater for special diets on request.

The Hotel was up to our expectations. Only the weather was dissappointing, we had fog for 2 days.The Cowleys were very welcoming and the room was nice. No complaints and we wold recommend them to our friends.
