Old Vicarage
The Old Vicarage is a 4 Star family-run, pet friendly, Guest House in St.Ives, Cornwall. Set in its own peaceful and secluded wooded grounds with ample free parking, we are located in a quiet residential area near the coastal path just over half a mile from the town centre and beaches. Renowned for its friendly atmosphere with the warmest of welcomes, this 150 year old one-time Victorian Rectory now has every modern convenience and yet retains the charm and features of the mid 19th Century. The Old Vicarage has been providing quality bed and breakfast accommodation at a reasonable price for more than thirty five years.

The garden contains a mix of traditional and tropical trees, shrubs and flowers and in summer there are hanging baskets and pots festooned with flowers. There is a seating area next to a lawn which can be used for putting practice and guests can relax here, perhaps with a drink from the bar. There is another lawned area for children to play, which also has a seating area.

Very friendly welcome for myself and my dog, beautifully presented guest house in a lovely quiet area with plenty of parking and lovely gardens. An easy walk from the town centre as well as being close to the coastal path this is a really good solution especially if you have a dog!

Really beautiful property, friendly staff and nice food and nice to actually be a little bit out of the centre. 10 min walk.

Nearby Attractions:

Since the middle ages St Ives was economically dependant on fishing, which has bequeathed it a picturesque port to complement the ocean-reflected clear blue light which brought many artists to the town. A branch of the Tate Gallery, as well as the Barbara Hepworth Museum, Bernard Leach Pottery and many other galleries now attract those interested in art.
