Old Bank Hotel, Oxford

In a bank, on the High with 42 stylish bedrooms and a collection of contemporary art with place to park, The Old Bank Hotel.

Created by Jeremy Mogford in 1999, The Old Bank houses his personal collection of modern British art.

Each bedroom features part of a complete collection of original sketches by Sir Stanley Spencer. Other works around the hotel and in the Brasserie include Gary Hume, Sandra Blow, Patrick Hughes, Wyndham Lewis, Craigie Atchison, Wilhemina Barns-Graham and Peter Liversidge.

Various displays of photographic work are visible around the hotel; most notably the internationally acclaimed photographer Paddy Summerfield has two collections. Handheld, commissioned for the hotel and the Oxford collection situated in the lobby.
