I stayed here with my mum, dad and daughter, as we were attending a wedding reception. the bedrooms where clean, tidy and plesant to stay in....we had to share a bathroom with the whole of the landing but it didnt make anydifferent but just make sure you lock the door...lol...the food was very accomadating and the landlaady provided us all with a snack evening lunch with was ample...the only thing that wasnt ideal was having to walk up all the stairs as we were at the top, aand they were very steep. my mum has asthma and wasnt to clever going up them but all the rooms were booked so we didnt ask to be moved. if you have trouble climbing stairs I would request a lower floor when booking. but overall a lovely pleasant stay...

The guesthouse is in a nice semi-rural area and is very well located. The owners are friendly and the guesthouse is kept clean. On the negative side the decor throughout desperately needs updating - especially the bedrooms. The carpark can get full during the week and there can be some difficulty in parking. I would recommend this guesthouse as it is clean and comfortable but as mentioned it is old fashioned.

Great property, full of character, just like the host! Very friendly, very accommodating, and what a find - kids, grandma and dog were very happy, as were we. Without asking for it [we just said we wouldn't have cooked breakfast because we were veggies but everyone else will] we got a breakfast with veggie sausages! Brilliant place, can't fault it.
