Nent Hall Country House Hotel, Alston

'The perfect country escape', Nent Hall is located one and a half miles from Alston, England's highest market town. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a short drive from the Lake District, Hadrian's Wall and many other English Heritage sites. Nent Hall provides the perfect base from which to explore Cumbria, described as England's last wilderness.

Nent Hall has eighteen en-suite bedrooms all with a bath and shower. We have a variety of types to choose from, including luxury four-poster rooms with king size mahogony four-poster beds and large comfortable sofas and our luxurious 5 room Tower Suite for those special occasions. We also cater for families with our East Wing containing family rooms which sleep up to five. All rooms benefit from their own unique view of the hotel grounds, River Nent and surrounding valley.

Colour televisions, telephones and tea & coffee facilities are also provided in all rooms. Guests benefit from free local & national telephone calls and free internet access during their stay at Nent Hall. Our extensive car park is well lit at night and covered by CCTV.

Our guests can relax in the extensive tranquil gardens or walk along the banks of the River Nent to several vantage points, where the whole of the valley lies beneath. Recuperate around the log fire in our large but very comfortable lounge, which also contains an internet ready pc and wireless network coverage (free for all guests).
