Owned and personally run by the Maclean family since 1986, Myrtle bank is renowned for its friendly highland welcome, relaxing atmosphere and excellent cuisine. Since 1986 the hotel has been extensively upgraded, extended and refurbished in a modern traditional style to take full advantage of the panoramic views to the Isle of Skye.
At Myrtle Bank we pride ourselves on the superior quality of both our public areas and bedrooms which are all spacious, well decorated and attractively furnished. Our conservatory lounge area overlooks the sea and commands breathtaking views towards the west and the superb sunsets for which Wester Ross is famous.
Also sharing the magnificent views are the restaurant which provides outstanding quality dinners and the lounge bar which offers lunches and suppers or just a relaxing place to enjoy one of our large selection of malts, liqueurs, wines or beers. All twelve ensuite bedrooms are fully equipped with colour television, radio, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Those at the front of the hotel have the added advantage of the stunning views from our prime location.
