A former coaching inn dating from 1760 the 3 star Murray Arms Hotel is situated in the heart of picturesque Dumfries and Galloway Scotland, and is one of the most charming, proprietor run hotels Dumfries and Galloway has to offer.

With 12 ensuite bedrooms, six meeting or break-out rooms and as a charming Dumfries and Galloway wedding venue , we are well-equipped to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Established in 1760, the Murray Arms is a listed building retaining much of its character and original features - such as white-washed walls which are traditional to the area.

Gatehouse of Fleet is within one of only 40 designated National Scenic Areas in Scotland. The area is also a part of a National Trust for Scotland conservation area. Our hotel is the perfect base for exploring some of the most beautiful and unspoiled landscapes in the UK, including the Galloway Forest Park. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to tell you about some of the areas most popular attractions, activities and best kept secrets.

we always stay at the murry hotel since we found gatehouse of fleet.it breaks our trips up from skye to nottingham.it is also perfect for holliday breaks.the staff are perfect especially stuart and mr equador.
