Morton's Fork, charmingly situated in the historic, picturesque village of Minster in Kent, opposite the church and just a short stroll from the 11th century Abbey, offers the ideal opportunity to eat, drink and unwind in the surroundings of less hectic days. An ideal stopping place for ferry travellers en-route between Europe and the UK.
Six luxury bedrooms, three within the delightful building of Morton's Fork and three just a four minute walk away, enable you to appreciate not only a homely welcome but, in conjunction with the facilities of our restaurant and bar, everything you would expect from a good class hotel.
On less formal occasions, relax in the intimate surroundings of the bar, whether with a drink or a satisfying snack of excellent, fresh, home-cooked fare. Dine beside log fires in winter or on the patio on warm summer evenings.
The restaurant, which is highly praised by guide books and patrons alike, can seat up to 40 and concentrates on cooking with simple, good taste, whether a fresh local lobster, grilled steak or more sophisticated specialities like chicken stuffed with crab or duck with blackcurrant sauce.
