Boat Of Garten is located in an area famous for ancient forests, rare birds, castles and wild water slides. The village boasts an excellent golf course and is located on the line of the Strathspey Steam Railway. Aviemore Ski and Snowboarding centre,along with the Cairngorm Mountain Railway is just 10 minutes drive away. The entire region is one of Europe's enduringly beautiful places and takes in some of the most spectacular landscapes in Britain.
On arriving at Moorfield House you will receive the warmest of welcomes as a "House Guest" at our Beautiful Highland Home. Informality is the key, enjoy the comfort of the lounge, relax, toast your toes in front of the crackling open fire, whilst perhaps sampling one of our many Speyside malts.
Enjoy dinner, freshly prepared using the best local produce available, in our intimate dining room. Each bedroom is en suite and individually furnished. Bold use of colours and fabrics tastefully combine to create an air of comfort and luxury.
A Hearty Scottish breakfast will prepare you for the delights of the day ahead. Departing Moorfield House we hope that you leave us feeling relaxed, refreshed and imbued with the spirit of the Scottish Highlands.
