Milton House provides excellent accommodation and genuine Scottish hospitality. Milton House is a comfortable establishment that is personally managed to a quality standard. Milton House offers: Exceptional private off street parking - 10 minutes by bus to city centre, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament Buildings - Pets accepted by arrangement - Overlooks large Recreation Park and nine hole golf course.

We are located at the East Side of Edinburgh on the A1
By Road from the south or Southeast: Travel the A1 until posted A1 Edinburgh, continue to the first roundabout and travel straight ahead (you will see Big W Super Store to your right). At the next roundabout turn left, sign posted A1 City Centre. Milton House is approximately 250 meters on the left hand side directly opposite Portobello Golf Course.
By Road from the North or Southwest and EdinburghAirport: Travel the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) East, following the sign posts for A1 Berwickupon Tweed, exit on the left at Old Craighall Junction, sign posted A1 Edinburgh, turn left at the sign posted A1 City Centre. Milton House isapproximately 250 meters on the left hand side directly opposite Portobello Golf Course.
Edinburgh Airport: Travel on Airport bus to Princes Street, locate Marks and Spencer directly opposite Scot Monument. Take bus numbers 43, 44, 104, or 106 and ask driver to let you disembark at the second bus stop on Duddington Crescent. Alternatively take a Taxi.
Waverley Station: Walk to Princes Street, locate Marks and Spencer directly opposite Scot Monument. Take the bus numbers 43, 44, 104, or 106 and ask driver to let you disembark at the second bus stop on Duddington Crescent. Alternatively take a Taxi.
