Macdonald’s Restaurant & Guesthouse was established in 1959 and is still run by family members.
Situated in the small Victorian Perthshire town of Pitlochry which, nestling in the Tummel Valley, is the geographical centre of Scotland and as holiday resort it and the surrounding district offer facilities unsurpassed for recreation and relaxation.
Macdonalds Guest House has recently been fully refurbished with new decor throughout from the delightfull decorative wall paper to the curtains, bed linen, carpets and ensuite facilities. Each room has a brand new state of the art flat screen TV.
All our rooms are attractively furnished and have private facilities, LCD television, tea/coffee makeing facilities and central heating. Guests have their own keys for access to rooms at all times. The llicensed restaurant is open to residents and non-residents for all meals: offering wholesome Scottish Fayre.
The guest house has a total of 10 rooms, made up of 7 double rooms, 1 twin room and 2 family rooms. The family room has a double bed and two single beds in the room. All rooms are ensuite with a shower and toilet facilities. Private Parking.
