Loftsome Bridge Coaching House
Nestling alongside the tranquil River Derwent lies the Loftsome Bridge Coaching House.

Dating back to 1782, the Coaching Inn as it was known, offered food and shelter to travellers for more than a century. It then became a working farm and guest house. After several years of painstaking restoration, we would like to continue the tradition and offer food and accommodation to the twentieth century traveller.

All our seventeen rooms, both cottage Style and in-house (hotel) bedrooms, are furnished to a very high standard.
For an extra special occasion, we are able to offer a luxurious master suite a large handcarved chippendale four poster bed.

This is a lovely place set in the countryside. Lots of oldy worldy charm coupled with all modern tvs wifi etc. The bathroom was partitcularly impressive large and very modern. The breakfast are exeptionally high quality and plenty of it! Very clean everywhere and the staff helpful and polite. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We prefer the cottages they are quieter, we had noisy next door to our room, and our shower was red hot unable to have a shower. Did report this to reception.
