We stayed for 5 nights in a beautiful room in the Cedar Wing, the views were breathtaking and the whole experience was totally relaxing. We were able to unwind in style. The staff were welcoming and professional, the food was excellent. We have no negative comments and am happy to recommend to my friends and family. We hope to return again.

Take a stunning location, beautiful views, charming public rooms and bedrooms, wonderful food and then mix thoroughly with a liberal helping of excellent service and what do you get ? The Loch Melfort Hotel ! My wife and I have stayed here off and on over the last 25 years, and believe that the new owners ( new to us, since we hadnt visited during the two years that they have been in the driving seat ) have found the correct balance. This is not always easy to achieve, for good hotel keeping is rather like good theatre, in that it is only as good as the sum of all its parts on the occasion of your visit. Congratulations to them and their dedicated team in achieving such a high standard, long may it continue.

This was our second stay at Loch Melfort hotel - our first was last February. Both times we found this to be the the perfect place for a relaxing winter getaway. At this time of year the two beautiful lounges really come in to their own - one with a telescope so you can look out on an amazing sea-loch view. But in December and February the main lounge is the real draw. Warm , cosy, traditional with squashy red sofas and a great log fire - a rare treat. The food is excellent and we can really recommend the Easdale venison. Breakfasts are excellent with Loch Fyne Kippers and home made jam. Nearby Arduaine gardens are a good place to walk it all off. As well as the dining room the hotel has a bistro where you can eat more modestly. Lovely staff, Calum and Rcahel are friendly hosts and give you a great welcome. A fantastic experience all round.
