Little Carron Cottage, St Andrews

Little Carron is a delightful 200 year old cottage situated on the western side of town just over a mile from the town centre. It has 3 guest rooms - 2 ground floor suites and a family room on the upper floor. The cottage has ample parking and a lovely garden for guests to enjoy. Opposite the cottage is the entrance to Lade Braes, a beautiful 20-25 minute riverside walk in to town.

ROOMS
Swilcan
A spacious ground floor suite with a double/twin bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen. It has its own private entrance and parking space.

Eden
Our second ground floor suite has a double bedroom, en suite bathroom and a lovely private lounge.

(The 2 suites have an adjoining door making it a very spacious area for parties of 4)

Kinness
A bright family bedroom with en suite bathroom on the upper floor with a window that overlooks the garden. The room has one 5’ bed and one single bed.

GUEST SERVICES

Tea and coffee facilities, a fridge and a TV are provided in each room.

A traditional English cooked breakfast or Continental breakfast is served in the hall from 8.30am-10am. Breakfast can be earlier by request.

Check in time is between 4pm and 7 pm but can be earlier or later by arrangement.
Check out time is 10.30am.

DIRECTIONS

Trains
Leuchars Train Station is the nearest to St Andrews (6 miles). Taxis are usually available and cost around £10. Buses run frequently from the station. The 99 or 99A bus takes you to a bus stop adjacent to our house. The cost is around £2.50 per person.

Flights
From Edinburgh Airport follow signs for the Forth Road Bridge, cross the bridge onto the M90 and exit at Junction 8 for the A91 to St Andrews via Cupar.

Ferry
From Rosyth join the M90 at junction 1 and head North to exit at junction 8 for the A91 to St Andrews.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR HOUSE
On entering St Andrews go straight ahead at the first roundabout, turn right at the second up City Road past the bus station, turn right at the third roundabout on to Double Dykes road. At the junction turn right on to Hepburn Gardens. At the next roundabout (with the red telephone box) stay left on Hepburn Gardens and you will find our house approx half a mile on the right hand side.
