31/2 acres with a delightful garden. Little Barwick House offers comfort and charm in a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Tim and Emma have gained a wealth of experience working around the world in some of the finest hotels and restaurants. Tim spent ten years under the late Francis Coulson at Sharrow Bay, Cumbria - it was here that he developed his individual style, and met Emma!

The hotel features favourably in all the hotel and restaurant guides; a Gold Ribbon from the RAC, awarded 'Restaurant with Rooms of the Year' by the Good Hotel Guide 2002, "Ravishing Restaurant with Rooms" 2003 - Which Hotel Guide, Three AA Rosettes and an AA Red Star 2002-2003, awarded the Gold Award from the English Tourism Council. The bedrooms are all en-suite, and each one has been individually furnished with the same attention to detail: fresh flowers, crisp linen, thick soft towels, homemade shortbread and a cafetiere coffee /tea tray. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday lunch.

Directions: Follow signs to Yeovil and then the A37 to Dorchester. 1 mile outside Yeovil, turn left at the roundabout (you will see the Red House Pub on the right of the roundabout). Follow directions to Barwick. Once in the village the road will fork. Follow the left fork up the hill to Little Barwick House.
