Limpley Stoke Hotel
Situated on the outskirts of Bath and set in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the magnificent Avon Valley, The Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel is the ideal venue from which to explore the West Country.

Founded in the reign of King James 1, the hotel boasts the splendour of a traditional Georgian Country House, and is set in 3 acres of private grounds, with spacious public rooms, quality accommodation, and sympathetic furnishings throughout.

All of the hotel bedrooms have been individually designed and lavishly equipped with fabrics and furnishing that complement the surroundings, offering charm and character alongside modern facilities. Each room offers tea/coffee making facilities, radio and colour TV with the majority enjoying stunning views across the valley.

The hotel restaurant boasts fine dining, with an emphasis on fresh local produce accompanied by an extensive selection of fine wines. Alternatively, the Valley Bar offers a range of light snacks served throughout the day, where you can just relax and soak up the ambience of the tranquil setting. In addition, the hotel has its own ‘Hop Pole Inn’ at the bottom of the drive. Formerly a Monks’ retreat this traditional 16th century coaching Inn offers character and charm together with a range of real ales and quality food in a relaxed atmosphere.

With its spectacular views and spacious grounds The Limpley Stoke Hotel is also ideal for use as a truly memorable wedding venue, or for staging business meetings and conferences. Staff at the Limpley Stoke Hotel pride themselves on their attentive service and welcoming hospitality, so you can rest assured that all your needs will be courteously catered for.

The hotel has easy access to the M4 motorway, and is ideally situated for exploring the South West, with local attractions including The Roman Baths, Wells Cathedral, Longleat, Glastonbury and Stonehenge.

The hotel was nice but the best part was the pub at the bottom of the hill. The hop Pole Inn was fabulous. There food was great and the atmosphere was very good.
