Lots of travel advice given, and to match the cottage, an abundance of old fashioned hospitality. With the coming of mid summer brings the sun-rising directly across the bay in full view, filling the whole cottage with the most subtle shades of crimson which fills the heart with joy!
All rooms have full central heating, hospitality tray, colour TV and panoramic views over Broadford Bay, to Loch Kishorn, Loch Carron & beyond to the passionate West Highland Scenery. Accommodation on two floors as: one ground floor room & two upper floor rooms. Also ground floor sitting/breakfast room (street level). Each period En-suite bedroom is sympathetically refurbished and retains so much original individuality.
We are situated From the Skye Bridge stay on the A87 for Broadford (7 miles) turn left at sign for Skye Serpentarium World, turn right behind Serpentarium. LimeStone Cottage is approx. 200 yds. On your left “overlooking the bay”. From the Kylerhea ferry single-track road (9 miles) turn left at A87 for Broadford (3 miles) turn at Serpentarium, as above. From Armadale ferry take A851 (15 miles) turn left at Skulamus T junction on A87 for Broadford (2 miles) turn at Serpentarium, as above. From Uig & north Skye enter Broadford on A87 pass Tourist information centre, Filling station, CO-OP Supermarket then Village hall turn right at Serpentarium, as above.
