I spent two nights at Lakes End whilst attending a wedding nearby and would happily have stayed longer. The room was spotless, the dining room likewise and the breakfast cooked to order. I'll recommend Lakes End. I appreciated that as a single person there was a small discount of the tariff.

We stayed at the lakes End Guest house while attending my niece's wedding in December. We had a lovely breakfeast with my husband being served an extra large one. The proprietor was very friendly, and helpful, and although we never saw his wife, she had been helpful to me when I emailed a few weeks before the wedding to ask for a hairdresser, which she recommended to me. The hotel was warm and comfortable, and nicely decorated for Christmas. All the guests were for the wedding, and all were happy with the accommodation. As we live abroad, everything was done by email, and we had no problems at all.

The directions are very easy to follow and also very accurate. We had a family room even though there were only 2 of us so it was very spacious. It is a very well presented B&B and very comfortable. The breakfast was typical english and lovely!! We would highly recommend anyone to stay!
