Lake Lodge Hotel
Lakes Lodge is a new and exciting concept in Lake District accommodation. We make B&B exciting by offering you a great welcome and stylish surroundings right in the centre of Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District.

Lakes Lodge offers you modern facilities usually found only in larger hotels, but in a relaxed atmosphere - the best of both worlds! Come for anything from 1 to 14 nights and see what makes us different.

All our accommodation is en-suite and there is a choice of 12 bedrooms available from single to twin, double to family, standard to King size.

Start your day in our café-style buffet breakfast room where you can help yourself to continental breads, cereals and fruit plus smoked fish, Cumberland sausages and ham. If you prefer to take breakfast back to your room, then that’s okay by us! Unlike many B&B’s we are licensed and offer a wine and beer room service throughout the day and evening. Ice and ice buckets are also installed for your convenience.

We are happy to recommend this B&B. A very good location in Ambleside, lovely big room with plenty of goodies to eat and drink and a big bathroom. Very welcoming staff.

The hotel is central to the shops and restaurants, very convenient. Our room was great, modern and lots of room. Really good breakfasts and would go back again.

Lakes Lodge is in a great location and we had a large and spacious room. We were disappointed with the self-service breakfast though and prefer our food cooked to order. Also the car park is on the small side for the number of rooms and must be a problem at the height of the season. But all in all we had an enjoyable stay.

Our room here was spacious and warm, although the bathroom was on the small side. The self-serve breakfast was no problem and plenty of choice. Friendly and helpful staff. Would not hesitate to go back.

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our family room was large and bright with lovely views. The breakfast was buffet, self service style which we enjoyed. I would definitely go back to Lakes Lodge.
