Gardeners Cottage is a charming listed stone cottage dating back to 1880 in the heart of the popular quayside town of Kingsbridge.
The cottage has been sympathetically renovated retaining many original features and furnished to a high standard. The Quay is a level three minute walk and there is a wide choice of restaurants and public houses close by.
The front entrance leads into the sitting room with exposed ceiling timbers, wood floor and open granite log-burning fire, leading to fully equipped kitchen. Slightly steeper than usual stairs to bedroom with antique victorian brass and iron double bedstead (bedding supplied) and bathroom with new bath, shower and wc. Pretty front garden, small rear enclosed gravelled area with table/chairs and access gate. Gas central heating.
Kingsbridge is a vibrant local market town nestled into the rolling hills of the South Hams - a sheltered rural area lying between the River Tamar in the west and the River Dart to the east. There is nothing sleepy about Kingsbridge - it is the centre of attention and focus for locals and visitors alike. There is a wide range of individual shops and businesses, a sports centre with indoor heated swimming pool and bowls rink, a cinema, nightclub and all the usual facilities required by a thriving community.
